 Tsukimoto Sachiko(月本 幸子), who has served half of a three year sentence for shooting a high-ranking mob boss Shigeru Mukōjima(向島 茂) is caught up in a prison breakout orchestrated by fellow inmate Shunrei Yoshii(吉井 春麗) during transport to a hospital. Though Sachiko wants to return to prison, Shunrei forces Sachiko to accompany her along with a female prison guard. Can the Tokumeigakari pair track them down before any harm comes to them?

Characters appearing/mentioned in the story

Tsukimoto Sachiko(月本 幸子) - 34 years old prisoner number 90 at Aoume Women's Prison(青梅女子刑務所 Aoume Joshi Keimusho). She used to call herself the "unlucky woman" in spite of her lucky name because of misfortunes she had experienced in her past. She was mobster Shigeru Mukōjima(向島 茂)'s former lover whom she shot in a previous episode.

At the beginning of the episode, she writes a letter of gratitude to Inspector Ukyō and Sergeant Kaoru celebrating the halfway point of her sentence. Miwako was in Egypt when the Tokumeigakari pair apprehended Sachiko and so doesn't remember her. Sachiko's aid in taking down Jōdai Financial(城大金融) was highly regarded, and she ended up with a relatively light sentence of three years.

During a recent medical checkup, the prison doctor noticed an anomaly in her previous medical checkup. As a result, she was placed on a van with Shunrei Yoshii(吉井 春麗) to be taken to a hospital to receive medical treatment. Two men pretending to be policemen on motorcycle stop and hijack the van. Sachiko wants no part of this jailbreak plan. Shunrei is displeased and punches Sachiko hard enough on the mouth that she starts bleeding.

Shunrei Yoshii(吉井 春麗) - 25 year old inmate at the Oume Women's Prison(青梅女子刑務所), prisoner 303. She is serving a six year sentence for causing a death during a robbery. She had written many letters to her father, asking him to come break her out of prison. Four days ago, she received a letter from her father postmarked from Taiwan. Shortly afterwards, she told a fellow inmate that her father, the boss of a Taiwanese mafia, was coming to rescue her.

She was being transported to a medical prison so that she could be treated for her worsening chronic asthma.

She was born in Taiwan, but her parents divorced when she was 12. Her Japanese mother took Shunrei back to Japan, but her mother died from an illness shortly afterwards, and Shunrei spent the rest of her troubled childhood living with various relatives.

Ishida(石田) - Akigawa Station (秋川署) Chief (commissioner). He strongly objects to Inspector Ukyō's road bock plans and practically forces Assistant Commissioner Nakazono to move the roadblocks back to their original locations.

Iijima(飯島) - Detective working from Akigawa Station (秋川署). He questioned Misa Tozaki(戸崎 美佐) after she was hospitalized.

Oka(岡) - Policeman at Akigawa Station (秋川署) work works with Iijima(飯島). He questioned Misa Tozaki(戸崎 美佐) after she was hospitalized.

Shigeru Mukōjima(向島 茂) - Former big shot member of Jōdai Financial(城大金融). He survived Sachiko's shooting but he was severely injured and he now gets around in an electric wheelchair.

Misa Tozaki(戸崎 美佐) - Female prison officer who was taken hostage. She tried to fight the hostage-takers but Shunrei knocked her out and took her hostage. Sachiko dropped her from the van when they passed by a police box, and she was taken to a hospital shortly afterwards. After taking to Iijima and Oka, she threw away the piece of paper Sachiko gave her, which had the words Haneda and Taiwan written on it with Sachiko's blood.

Hideaki Tamura(田村 秀明) - Mukōjima's henchman who wears glasses. He punched Shunrei at the hideout.

Kubo(久保) - One of the two gangsters who rode a white motorcycle and attacked the wagon carrying the prisoners.

Takao Ichikawa(市川 孝雄) - One of the two gangsters who rode a white motorcycle and attacked the wagon carrying the prisoners. He was involved with many underground groups though he had kept quiet the last few years. While he was with the Gin'yū Group(銀有会) between 1992 and 1995, he helped collect money for Jōdai Financial(城大金融).

Bunken Shū(周 文健) - Shunrei's father, 58 years of age. He was a former Taiwanese mafia boss, but cut his ties with the criminal underworld and is now a diligent employee at a Chinese restaurant in Japan. He entered Japan about a month ago.
