Aibou TV Season 2 Episode 14 - Ice Woman(氷女)

Subtitle: Ice Woman(氷女)


 A man is found to have frozen to death one cold winter night. Oddly enough, he was so cold that his heart was frozen - in fact, he was thawing out in the cold. Where was he really killed and who murdered him?

Akio Ikenaga(池永 秋男) - The man who was found frozen to death, employee at Fuji Shōji(富士富商事). He had a life insurance for 70 million yen paid out to his wife.

Yoshimi Ikenaga(池永 よしみ) - Akio's wife who works as an assistant manager at the supermarket Smile Store(スマイルストアー).

Kurusu(来栖) - President of a seafood processing company and Fuji Shōji's customer. He was drinking with Akio Ikenaga the night Akio died. Akio Ikenaga had asked him to prepare a huge amount of back margin.

Kiwako Yamanaka(山中 貴和子) - LNG (liquefied natural gas) researcher at Meihō Institute of Technology(明邦工科大学). She tells the Tokumeigakari pair that she saw Akio Ikenaga drinking with a woman wearing showy clothes some time after he left the first bar. She also carries out her research at the Environment and Energy Development Center(環境エネルギー開発センター) LNG Research Center(LNG 研究センター).

Keizō Masuda(益田 啓三) - A former employee for Fuji Shōji who was Akio Ikenaga's rival. He left the company in disgrace after Lena Uno accused him of sexual harassment. He later froze to death one cold winter night four years ago. He was Kiwako's husband.

Tanemoto(種本) - A thief who stole Akio's wallet from his thawing body. He was caught when he unsuccessfully tried to use Akio's credit card.

Lena Uno(宇野 レナ) - A career woman working at Fuji Shōji(富士富商事) who claimed that Keizō Masuda sexually harassed her. She is also Akio Ikenaga's subordinate and his lover. She is allergic to metals.

Umezawa(梅沢) - Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Third Division police member who tells the Tokumeigakari pair that they caught Tanemoto.

Aibou TV Season 2 Episode 13 - Kamikakushi (Spirited Away)(神隠し)

Subtitle: Kamikakushi (Spirited Away)(神隠し)


 Runa Ōmori(大森 瑠奈), a young girl, goes missing, and a few articles of her clothing are left in different areas of the neighborhood. Is there a message behind this odd act? Where is the girl and who is behind her disappearance?

This is the first time we see the homeless man Ichirō Yoshida(吉田 一郎) "Ichirō kun." He is one of Runa's friends.

 Terumasa Ninagawa(蜷川 輝正), a member of the House of Representatives who was known to have a strong sense of justice, lies dead on a hotel bed. Three secretaries working for him decide to dump his body elsewhere to make it seem as if Representative Ninagawa was murdered. Before the Tokumeigakari pair discover the details behind the representative's death, his mistress is also murdered. Can the Tokumeigakari uncover the truths behind both deaths?

 There are rumors going around at the Musashino Aoki Surgery Clinic(武蔵野青木外科病院) that Director Shūsaku Aoki(青木 周作) intentionally caused his father to die while performing a cholecystectomy(gall bladder removal). They had been arguing about money the day before. Did Director Aoki really murder his own father while operating on him?

Kenzaburo Kobayashi(小林 賢三郎) - The first patient who died due to Director Shūsaku's mistake during surgery.

Rokurō Asakura(浅倉 禄郎) - We get a glimpse of him at the end of the episode.

Notes

Shūsaku made his fatal first error during operation at Hijiriyama Medical University Medical Hospital(聖山医科大学総合病院).

He then moved to the Scholarship Foundation Central Hospital(育英会中央病院).

Shortly After Musashino Aoki Surgery Clinic(武蔵野青木外科病院) opened in 1990, Shūsaku made his second fatal medical error.

Aibou TV Season 2 Episode 9 - A Boy and a Gold Coin(少年と金貨)

Subtitle: A Boy and a Gold Coin(少年と金貨)


 Sergeant Kaoru spots a man acting suspiciously near a vending machine. The man, Kazuya Odajima(小田島 和也), hesitantly explains to the sergeant that his son dropped a coin which fell under the vending machine. The sergeant tries to help them by swiping the area beneath the vending machine with a nearby stick. To Sergeant Kaoru's surprise, \a gold coin not normally found in circulation comes sliding out from the vending machine.

The sergeant takes both father and son to a nearby police station and calls Inspector Ukyō. It turns out that the coin is a twenty yen gold coin, one of only 29 ever minted during the Meiji era. The coin is estimated to fetch more than 20 million yen in the market today. The inspector also tells the sergeant that a coin collector was murdered and robbed at his home nearby a short time ago. By the time Sergeant Kaoru finishes and returns from the phone call, Kazuya had run away, leaving his son behind. Did Kazuya murder the coin collector and steal the valuable gold coin?

Kazuya Odajima(小田島 和也) - The boy's father who lost a stolen gold coin under the vending machine. He lost his job (actually gave it up to another employee who was about to be fired) and argued with his wife who left him and the boy for another man. He is a part time air condition unit installer and has installed an air conditioner unit at the Kurano's mansion.

Masahiko Odajima(小田島 雅彦) - Kazuya's son, but not related to him by blood.

Mayumi Odajima(小田島 まゆみ) - Kazuya's wife and Masahiko's mother. She is Masahiko's biological mother, but she ran away leaving both her son and husband after Kazuya lost his job.

Akiko Matsukane(松金 彰子) - Curator at a museum of historic coins(貨幣博物館). Her son is a budding violinist planning to continue his studies in Vienna.

Zenjirō Kurano(倉野 善次郎) - Famous coin collector who was robbed and murdered.

Toshio Tabuchi(田淵 俊夫) - Owner of an antique coin store Tabuchi Shōkai(田淵商会), He was formerly known as Uzaki(宇崎) when he was arrested for trading fake coins. Inspector Ukyō noticed that he had daibōfūtō in his store.

Hajime Nishi(西 肇) - Inspector working at Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's second division. Inspector Ukyō asked him to check Toshio Tabuchi(田淵 俊夫)'s background.

Trivia


At the beginning of the episode, Inspector Uykō hands CSI Yonezawa a rakugo ticket the performance at Yokohama Nigiwaiza(横浜にぎわい座).

Aibou TV Season 2 Episode 8 - The Price of a Life(命の値段)

 Kiichi Kanda(神田 喜一), the head of the Kanda Group, calls the police from Jinsei Alley(人世横丁) in Ikebukuro(池袋) and tells the operator that he just killed a man. During the interrogation, he says that he was dead drunk and doesn't remember what happened. Inspector Ukyō realizes that by the time Kiichi made it to any bar in Jinsei Alley(人世横丁), all the bars would have been closed. Why did Kiichi lie?

Kiichi Kanda(神田 喜一) - 54 year old leader of the Kanda Group(神田グループ) who confessed to murdering Kubota. He married into the Kanda family and changed his name from Kamiya(上谷).

Reiko Kanda(神田 礼子) - Kiichi's wife.

Yōichirō Kanda(神田 陽一郎) - Kiichi and Reiko's eldest son, 24 years of age, who died in a boating accident. He was on a fishing boat when a motor boat lost control and and ran into his boat. His family received a life insurance settlement amount of 295 550 000 yen.

Mariko Tsuji(辻 真理子) - Owner of Bar Mariko(バー真理子). She knew that  Kanda's former name was Kamiya.

Atsushi Tsuji(辻 篤志) - Mariko's 24 year old son who died in the same accident as Kiichi. He was riding the motor boat that went out of control due to poor maintenance. Five people were injured in the accident, and two people died, including him. His mother was offered a life insurance settlement amount of 26 900 000 yen.

Kubota(久保田) - The murdered insurance company representative who was in charge of the out-of-court claim settlement of Yōichirō Kanda's death. He did not meet face to face with Kiichi Kanda before he was murdered, but negotiated through Kiichi's lawyer. He was also in charge of settling claims with Atsushi Tsuji(辻 篤志), which is still ongoing.

Kazuhisa Yanase(柳瀬 和久) - Kubota's boss.
